Sheldon, the first and mighty

Hi All,

I thought it was about time that I posted a pattern, I’ve got quite a few sorted now and think that they make sense. If you do fancy giving Sheldon, the little creature that started this all off, a go then please do post photos and let us know how you get on!

Don’t be afraid to adapt and change the patterns, they are all there as starting points. Start by having a think about the position that you would like your creature to be in, for example if you create two flopsy legs for the back then he can sit down as Sheldon is (first picture) or you could attach the front legs a little further up the body as with Leon (the second picture) to give him a playful, about to pounce, look.

I’ve included the neck pattern as well, this isn’t needed but does make posing and adding expression much easier. Give it a go and let me know if there’s anything that I’ve missed etc.

I’ve also added the face to my Octopus, I think he may need a top hat or something though..something is missing!

Etsy and book pages

Ok, really I knew that I’d get too excited and do this post tonight but, what can I say? – I’m a tease!

My first announcement is that I have an Etsy shop! Ta-dah! It’s only got one item on it at the moment but I can easily put more on later. It’s really quite easy to set up, not the mammoth task that I had assumed it was! Check it out here!

Also, the long awaited book pages…not much text really but this is what I want them to look like! – at the moment anyway!

Sorry about the pictures, ended up having to take a photo of my screen!

Let me know what you think of the pages, could do with all the feedback you have to give!

Until the next one…
