My name’s Emma and I’m a crochet addict! My partner taught me how to make a granny square and I have just kept making things. I generally follow patterns but I’m starting to make my own. I have a year before I start my teacher training and in that, I’m hoping to develop a good range of patterns and make them into a book.
I love making bags, creatures and accessories and often think in terms of crochet – generally when I’ve been at it all day!
I’m also branching out into rugs, if I can find cheap enough fabric, I can make it into ribbons and make rugs to sell on etsy…that’s the plan for now anyway! I’ve just moved to Basingstoke and haven’t got a job yet so I’m working on this full time!
I’m trying to perfect my patterns, and I could do with some help testing them. If you have any comments or fancy giving the pattern a go please comment.

I think you are right- the mane should be bigger- I don’t know if a really big one would be comic or scary- I suppose you will have to try and see!
I don’t think that it would be scary but it might not work but I’ll give it a go!
I was just thinking that it would be funny/cute as it got bigger but I don’t know at what point it might flip over into being a bit weird. Looks cute though.
